You have complete privacy during your stay, but we are nearby for whatever you need: a restaurant tip, a question about the apartment or anything unexpected.
Leme is the quiet end of Copacabana beach, separated from it only by Posto 1. It is a small, residential neighborhood with everything close by: bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, corner bars and restaurants are all a few minutes' walk away. At the far end of the beach is Morro do Leme, with the Duque de Caxias fort and the Caminho dos Pescadores, a short seaside trail with one of the best views in Rio. Copacabana starts around the corner, and Sugarloaf Mountain, Botafogo and downtown are a few minutes away by car or bus.
Santos Dumont airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away by car; Galeão international airport (GIG) takes 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Taxis and ride apps work well and drop you at the door. The nearest metro station is Cardeal Arcoverde, in Copacabana, about a 15-minute walk, with direct connections to Ipanema, Botafogo, downtown and the north of the city. Avenida Princesa Isabel, a few blocks away, carries bus lines to almost every part of Rio. The neighborhood is flat and easy to walk. If you are coming by car, we can point you to paid parking nearby: just ask before you arrive.
